People have referred to me as all of the above in passing. I get a kick out of linguistic subtleties; a rush from streamlining workflow; indelible purpose from making sure that everyone is heard. My process is an integral part of my drive. So how do I work? Like my heroes, I have a few guiding principles that shape my decisions when I write, create, and guide projects:

• Perspective—in communication, teamwork, and life—is everything
• Everyone has a perspective; those perspectives merit understanding
• Great work is user-conscious: empathetic, clear, and inclusive

I apply my drive in Seattle, Washington (where I also work on a novel and a non-profit, volunteer, and ski in my free time).
